*** ENTRIES ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED***
Thanks to everyone who entered - stay tuned for the winner to be announced tomorrow!
A first anniversary is always cause for celebration.
Reaching the one year milestone on Etsy is so special to me,
because it almost didn't happen...
It came down to fear, you see.
If I'd let my fear of failure get the better of me,
(and let me tell you, Fear tried its hardest!)
I never would have opened my shop in the first place.
I put it off for months,
trying to justify why I wasn't yet ready...
not enough stock,
timing isn't right,
the world will end if I do...
In reality, I was just fearful.
Looking back today,
with a fulfilling and constant workload,
and a fully independent business I can proudly call my own,
blissfully away (and thankful!) that my handcrafted jewellery is worn by women all over the globe...
I'm so glad I took that first step into the fearful unknown.
Closing the door on fear
opens the door to a world of possibility and opportunity.

Congratulations on your one year Etsyversary, Belinda!!! Everything in your shop is beautiful and you've achieved so much despite the hardships of this past year, so I definitely think a celebration is in order! :) I love all of your designs, but these custom earrings with the citrine stones are show stoppers:

Wishing you many more Etsyversaries :)
xoxo,
Ivy
P.S.--I'm also a longtime follower of your blog and FB pages :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh B...how could I *not* enter this? You know what a huge fan I am of your work (and now that I have begun "playing with metal" I have a newfound appreciation of your masterful way with metal and gems!).
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Etsyversary - and I am so glad I'm around to help celebrate what was almost "the store that wasn't"!
So, because it's you, dear lady, I will share my fear with you (don't tell anyone - shhhhh). I have been a writer since my earliest days. I can barely remember a time when I was NOT a writer. After some recent gentle (and not so gentle!) encouragement from friends, I am now preparing one of my manuscripts for publication. To me, this is Huge (capital H). Fear of failure...of falling flat on my face in front of the world...yes, I'm familiar with that :)
I wish you many more Etsyversary's and more sales than you can count - you deserve them all :)
Manda
xoxo
PS: I'm an avid, drooling, awestruck follower on your FB page too...of course :) xx
ReplyDeleteYou are completely crazy and I luv you to bits!! How can I possibly resist to enter this giveaway??
ReplyDeleteFear - such an terrible, horrible word. I've actually already concured my fear and did exactly what you are doing - I decided everything will be ok, dropped to half time at my day job and started my business "for real". Not a hobby anymore.... a business. Scariest thing I've ever done and I've done some wild things. But also the most glorious things I've ever done.
And I follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteOf course!
I don't like you on FB.... I LOVE you on FB.
ReplyDeleteMy fave piece from Belinda Saville? Easy.... anyone of your big faceted rings.

Hello Belinda, thank you for the chance to win. I follow you on facebook, and I love your work. I feel that my fear is to start my own jewelry business. I want to conquer it and little by little I am getting better with my work, where people will point out my stuff and tell me they like it. I think that's that little voice telling me to go ahead and do it right? :) Happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteOhhh it is giveaway time!!! Congratulations on your one year. I do remember you making those excuses on why NOT to open your etsy store. Fear, it is the only thing that keeps people from succeeding in what ever they want to do. So the thing that I would do if I had no fear.... hmmmm I would go swimming in a lake. EEEKKK that just freaks me out. LOL
ReplyDeleteBe sure to come by and join in on my birthday giveaway.

I love your Watermelon Tourmaline Stacking Rings.
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful.
Nicole/Beadwright
Oh and I am in your circle on etsy too.
ReplyDeleteSo with all of the above I am hoping to be your winner.
Nicole/Beadwright
What a beautiful way to honor your anniversary by giving more beauty to the world. Thank you for all that you create and best wishes for a lovely "next" year.
ReplyDeleteRobin
Oh Belinda, congratulations on your Etsyversary, and I hope your years after will be easier and happier! :)
ReplyDeleteI think one of my biggest fears is about living abroad, I was planning for years at university to spend a semester or a few years in Britain but I was scared, I didn't want to go alone but noone wanted to come with me then it got too late. But now I have a French boyfriend, for now he studies in Hungary, but if he wants to move back to France I will have to follow him (and learn French, it is like Mission Impossible for me...)
I am of course a long-time follower of your blog
ReplyDeleteand I follow you on Facebook too :)
ReplyDeleteI drool over the photos almost everything you make, but maybe my favorites are the tourmaline stacking rings (the color, of course, and their irregular shape), the The Mosaique Necklace (the chrysoprase, the quatrefoil, the filigree, the unusual shape) and the neckace you designed for Jelena!!! I LOVED that pendant! :) I really really really hope I win :)))
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Miss Belinda! I have enjoyed watching you blossom over this past year. This is a question I ask myself a lot...what would I do if I knew I could not fail? Because really, that is what the fear is all about, isn't it? I would walk out the door on my day job in a second. I would finish the book proposal that I have had brewing for two years (gah! just saying that makes me cringe!) and I would create more and market more and get myself out there. Thank you for taking the chance. You are a model of doing what you love. And I need more role models like that! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteErin
And I am a follower of your blog!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Bead & Button someday (if I had the money, of course) - and my fear of people and the anxiety created by crowds is the biggest thing keeping me from doing it (other than money, of course). The fear of crowds and anxiety... they keep me from many, many, many things...
ReplyDeleteI follow you on Fb always - I love you and your work!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about your FB page. New fan!
ReplyDeleteI've followed your blog forever - and I am so astounded by your generosity in this giveaway!!! What a lot of love to spread, you're a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite item in your shop right this minute are the peachy pink multi-dangle earrings - they are completely exquisite. But my all time, forever favorite, is the purple pendant on your Gallery link here on your blog. I could just go on and on, of course.... :D
ReplyDeleteOoh! I like the smoky quartz ring (that is one of my favorite stones!) to lend a bit of mystery to any outfit, the clever feather necklace to encourage me to fly, and the watermelon tourmaline stacking rings because what is not to love about that juicy color! You are a magnificent artist Miss Belinda!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day.
Erin
And this one totally doesn't count as an entry into your lovely celebration, but I am so incredibly, horribly and completely jealous of your collection of cabochons!!!!!!!!! SWOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I'd pack up and move to Idaho!
ReplyDeleteLisa C.
Wow Belinda!!! I was one who voted for free washing up!!! Because I fear it lol!! Jokes! What I fear most about my beading endeavours is that people actually buy my pieces. I know right it is so silly! But I really do fear success!!
ReplyDeleteI'm already following your blog! What a wonderful celebration giveaway!
ReplyDelete...and when I went and Liked you on Facebook I saw that a woman I know from high school had also found you...guess we are both drawn to gorgeous jewelry & gemstones.
ReplyDeleteI am a lover of your Facebook page :)) <3 <3 <3 I love drooling all over your custom jewels!!! Oh and you would guess I have been drooling over the recent cabochon pictures! And making designs in my head lol
ReplyDeleteMy favorite piece is the Inspirational Quote necklace which sold on Sept. 23, 2011. This is closely followed by a custom necklace which sold on May 23, 2011. Must be something about that '23.'
ReplyDeleteMy favourite item from your test shop... Is the smokey quartz bliss ring :))) it's like it was made just for me!!! It's perfect size stone and it's just my colour!!!! <3
ReplyDeleteUmmm I cannot confirm as I am on my phone.. But I think I follow your blog under my maiden name... If I don't I am crazy... Stupid and damn fool!! ;))
ReplyDeleteHi Belinda,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your one year Etsyversary! My fear is going to places by myself, which is something I am working on, but have not totally conquered. I also have a fear of heights.
Therese
I have followed your blog for almost a year now.
ReplyDeleteTherese
I am now a friend of your facebook page.
ReplyDeleteTherese
You have so many beautiful creations in the shop now and in the past, but I would have to say my favorite is the Watermelon Tourmaline stacking rings.
ReplyDeleteTherese
Ah Fear...what a word! I think my biggest fear at the moment would be very similar to yours Bel! I have a deep down urge to do a couple of markets with my little biz but then hesitation always sets in. Will I sell anything? Will I get negative comments? Will it rain? Will I have enough/not enough stock? What colours are most popular..it's goes on and on! But I get such positive feedback from all of my customer online maybe I should just bite the bullet!
ReplyDeleteAlready a blog follower <3
ReplyDeleteAlready a FB lover!!
ReplyDeleteNow I thought this question was a joke....how could I pick just ONE piece from your beautiful collection. I have to say your custom ring with ruby, amethyst and apatite really attracts me, those are my type of colours! But I also love the simplicity of the rose quartz ring. I'll stop while I'm ahead!
ReplyDeleteI just recently found your shop! Beautiful creations!
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would move out to Montana. Or get chickens. Well, probably both actually :)
Congrats on 1 year!
I already follow your blog in google reader. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite creation of yours is your Before the Dawn ring. LOVE it. I would've bought it already if not for my huge fingers :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on taking that step and achieving success. If I had no fear, I would go skydiving or windsurfing. Maybe take a ride in a hot air balloon. I like the idea of the wind in my hair and a bird's eye view of the scenery.

I figure you deserve some consideration and honesty.... If I had no fear, I would buy the supplies I need to and try the techniques that I have wanted to for years and years but been so scared of failing that I have refused to. All I wanted to do since I was a kid was make myself a sterling silver bangle and a silver ring entirely my own design and craftsmanship. I have designed so many, but I am terrified that I might find out that I haven't got the skills to transform my ideas into finished pieces. I'm safer using lack of knowledge/supplies/funds as an excuse and never knowing, and I have been making jewellery for 8 years and still not found the courage to try. If I am honest, in 8 years I am pretty sure I could have found the funds to get what I need to try it. Especially when I think of how many gemstone beads I have!! But it is something so close to my heart I am just too scared to.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I follow your FB :)
ReplyDeleteI think your inspirational quote necklace - the pace of nature is my favourite today. Tomorrow it will be something else. I have longed to wear all of your creations!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst...congratulations on your your 1 year Etsyversary and what an awesome opportunity for your winner.
ReplyDeleteFear...I wouldn't have waited 27 years to get back with my one true love!
I follow your lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteI am defintely a fan on FB
ReplyDeleteOoops...mispelled "definately". This ring is one of my favorites..."The Breathe Ring".
ReplyDeletehttp://www.etsy.com/transaction/53063042
Congratulations beautiful B on your Etsy anniversary ♥
ReplyDeleteI love all your work ~ its rich with your beautiful soul and heart. Hmmm what is my biggest fear, I have so many little ones but I think they are what most women fear ~ but I think a fear I wish I could over come is of rejection. Of walking into a gallery or shop and having them laugh and my work ~ so I don't do it ~ sometimes I think this holds me back. Hiding in my studio suits this fear... selling online suits this fear!
I follow your blog ♥
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of yours on facebook :D
ReplyDeleteand my favourite piece of yours ~ does it have to be one.... because I love them all :) Maybe the starry night earrings, or the Rivoli rings {especially the darker stones ~ yum }♥
ReplyDeleteI've been the silent follower of your work on FB. :) Congrats on your Etsy anniversary and thank you for this generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIf I have no fear, I would drop everything and go backpacking around the world - climb mountains, skydive, paraglide and swim in the Caribbean without the fear of heights and water.
I have been and still am a fan of yours on FB....
ReplyDelete...and am now following your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely love more than one of your creations. If I have to choose, it got to be the Pink Amethyst Butterfly Cocktail Ring (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/79552152). :) PS: The Watermelon Tourmaline Stacking Rings follows closely next! They're so versatile and I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would quit my job and run away to live with my man overseas.
ReplyDeleteI follow you on Facebook...
ReplyDelete...and now I follow your blog...
ReplyDelete...and I've been trying to choose just one favourite from your Etsy shop and I just can't!!! I might go with some of your stacker rings, though - the watermelon tourmaline ones are beautiful (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/53199526), as are the multicoloured gem ones (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/66429612). Too much prettiness to choose from!!! <3
ReplyDeleteAs for what I could do if I had no fear (and no other obligations). I would be a Tango dancer. Late nights in Buenos Aires, the slow breath of the accordion, tall-heeled stilletos and gliding across the floor light as air...something like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QZ3fHYDeQg
ReplyDeleteYou know I follow you already, and I like you on facebook. As for my favorite piece, it's these rings: http://www.etsy.com/transaction/69227671
ReplyDeleteAs someone working in metal, I have no idea how you do this, but I'm hoping I'm that good one day!
Congratulations on your etsy anniversary and thank you for this post, it gave me courage to take a step further.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would take a year off and just experiment things the way I want to.
I follow your blog x
ReplyDeleteand I follow your facebook x.
ReplyDeletemy favourite pieces from your shop... http://www.etsy.com/transaction/60409130 and http://www.etsy.com/transaction/60766036
ReplyDeleteyayy for your one year anniversary - i can relate as i too let fear get in the way and I kept putting Etsy off...so glad I got over that!
ReplyDeleteif I had no fear, id take the leap and change careers - id probably study Graphic Design and expand my paper goods range!
My favourite items is this ring - so pretty!
http://www.etsy.com/listing/81810097/multi-stone-ring-gemstone-ring-sterling
Congratulations on your first etsy anniversary ! I started following your blog after seeing your beautiful work on the beading forum and I was instantly hooked by your gorgeous and unique designs, I also follow you on Facebook . My favorite of your designs from your etsy shop ( its so hard to choose !!) would be the stunning large faceted cocktail rings with the filigree work on it , just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear , well I've had an empty etsy store for 6 months as I keep thinking that my works not good enough and no one would buy it etc etc so I would definately put stuff in my shop and I would also take my work into some gift stores or boutiques and maybe even a gallery or two
I follow your blog
DeleteI also follow you on facebook
DeleteMy favorite item currently in your etsy store is one of your gorgeous multi- stone rings (www.etsy.com/listing/81810097/multi-stone) and my favorite sold item is all of them :)'but to choose one would be my absolutely favorite cocktail ring with the filigree work (www.etsy.com/transaction/62600685).
ReplyDeleteHii. Congratulations on your Etsy anniversary. Wish you the very best for the future.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would quit my current job in Banking to write full-time. I haven't done it out of fear that I will not be good enough, I will not earn well, I won't afford the rental and pay back my loans, etc. No fear? I'd quit my 10:30 to 6:30 job tomorrow and start sending my work to publishing houses.
My favourite item currently in your Etsy store is The Bliss Ring. But out of all your items, my absolute favourite is The Pace of Nature necklace. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I live in Bombay, India. :) And I had a big smile when I discovered your blog and saw that your kid is called India.
If I had no fear I would finally go get the tattoos that I have wanted forever.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog as Shaiha thru GFC.
ReplyDeleteI liked your FB page awhile ago
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the watermelon tourmaline set of stacking rings.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteI love your children's' name bracelet from your sold items.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would get over my agoraphobia. Been working on that for years.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity and congrats on your anniversary!
Congrats on the great effort you've put into your business.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would invest my redundancy money into purchasing some studio space and opening my own boudoir photography business.
You're liked on FB and on Blogspot. I've always loved your wide-band rings. They're usually so full of texture and interesting bits. Been lusting after them. I do love the quote ring that you've got up at the moment. *tempted*
Oops... separate entries...
ReplyDeleteOk... BLOG FOLLOWED!
FACEBOOK FOLLOWED!
ReplyDelete(I feel kinda silly doing this... LOL)
Etsy-love...
ReplyDeleteThe Quote ring! Love it and want it!
First the fear thing, you mention it with regard to setting up your business. This rings bells in me, I do have a shop, I do make and sell jewellery, but, the fear thing happens when I want to lift the benchmark and work exclusively on more edgy designs. I need to take a leaf from your book and take that leap of faith. Congratulations Belinda on a year of creating bliss for many.
ReplyDeleteI'm following your blog :)
ReplyDeleteI too Love <3 to Like you on FB
ReplyDeleteI drool whenever I see your work. My favourite series was the Moroccan influence, however the piece/s that strikes a chord for me are the Autumn Stars earrings. Keep up the inspiring work.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant ideas for giveaways. These are also nice for weddings too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorit piece was the twilight topaz ring you mad for Sharon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this give away!
I am a blog follower, and so thrilled for you!
ReplyDelete1. My fear of using a torch (looks at maple wood floor while shuffs all these papers and objects so she's got a corner of flat surface to put her coffee cup), and this fear is prohibiting me to grow even further as a jewelry designer I believe.... but then there are still so many wire related possibilities that I haven't tried! So, had to stay happy and content for now... :)
ReplyDelete2. your blog is now stalked..... by yours truly.... *grin*
3. But I Love you long time!!! sniff sniff.....
4. I LOVE your Moroccan anything!! And Mosaique anything!! LOL
I really love one of your sold items. The Nomad ring you made for Susan. I love the flow of the shape, and the quote inside is a wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteOk, so I've done all the other ones you asked, now I have to answer the fear one.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's the same that you had. To open a shop. To sell my work. To put myself out there, for the world to see.
I haven't done it, and I pray that I'm getting closer, cause my husband would be thrilled for me to be making money, instead of just spending it. :) You really touched my heart with this post, thank you.
I'm thrilled for your accomplishment, and awed at your choice of giveaway.
Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.
First off, Congratulations on your 1-year Etsyversary! *<}:O)
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear, I would smoosh spiders and step on cockroaches. I wouldn't scream the most blood-curdling scream anyone's ever heard, when I see something the size of a pin-dot moving on a wall or on the floor. I'm sure my husbands ears would appreciate it greatly, and quite possibly the neighbors would quit sending the police or an ambulance to my door each time. ;)
I follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteI "like" you on Facebook! Woot! a new friend! (and I didn't even have to call "rent-a-friend")
ReplyDeleteI love, Love, LOVE your "Stardust Necklace"!
ReplyDeleteHi Belinda - what a lovely and generous idea to have this give-away for your first year. I found your blog from FB and so am now following :)
ReplyDeleteI am also following you on FB...
ReplyDeleteAnd my fave things in your shop are those fabulous big rings - the turquoise one is fab, as are the faceted stone rings already sold :) Glad I have found your work - I will now be following to see what new lovelies you make x
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear I would sky dive. i know that's probably a common answer, but I would love to feel a free fall - bungee jumping, etc....but the thought of that jump makes me shiver!!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally follow your blog ;)

If I had no fear I would spend all my waking hours in creative endeavors (beading, silk painting, and sewing). However, the fear of not being able to support my family financially is only allowing me to devote nights to the aforementioned creations... ~ Julia (JPJbeaded)
ReplyDeleteI have been an invisible follower of your blog for almost two years now (you had your blog in a different domain back then). It was amazing to watch your transition from seed beads into the world of gems and silver. How wonderful! ~ Julia (JPJbeaded)
ReplyDeleteThough I am a HUGE fan, I have to admit that I do not have a FB account, and so I cannot link to you there. If that is a must for this entry, then discount it. ~ Julia (JPJbeaded)
ReplyDeleteEverything you make is absolutely beautiful and precious. Every piece is better than the other! I think that the best part that I love about your work are the details and the extra touches that you add to your creations (a piece of filigree, a message, etc.), while at the same time you are maintaining a clean look. ~ Julia (JPJbeaded)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your Etsy anniversary.
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fear I would live life with a "no lose" attitude. I admire people who follow their dreams and have the ability to conquer any adversities life deals them.
Karyn
I have been following your beautiful blog for some time now.
ReplyDeleteKaryn ♥
I also proudly follow you on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteKaryn ♥
Now I couldn't find my favourite piece in your list of sold items but I think you know which ring it is as we have had many discussions about suitable stones I can choose to have you make this beautiful ring again for me. I just love the filigree pieces you add and the enormity of that stone you used!
ReplyDeleteKaryn
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary B! I wish you many more years of success <3
ReplyDelete1. If I had no fear I would open my own cafe, selling Sydney's best macarons and coffee (I can dream, right?), but I fear failure and fear the cost of setting it up... so maybe 1 day I'll conquer my fears and take the brave step.
Vanessa
2. I'm a follower of your blog :)
ReplyDelete3. I don't just like you on facebook, I LOVE you on facebook! <3
ReplyDelete4. My favourite item in your Etsy store right now is this beautiful turquoise cocktail ring. I just love the shape and form of the ring and it would definitely make a statement.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.etsy.com/listing/67541137/turquoise-ring-sterling-silver-cocktail
1. I would go back to school.
ReplyDelete2. Been a follower for a little while :)
ReplyDelete3. Liked you on Facebook (KL from Finland)
ReplyDelete4. I love just about everything you've made, but my favourite piece by you is The Mosaique Necklace - I'm crazy about quatrefoils, and arabic ornaments.
ReplyDelete1. I can't say that I have no fear but I'm doing exactly what I would do if I had no fear at the moment... I've started my own photography business!! It's so freaking scary and fear was holding me back for a very long time.... but I'm facing it head on and aiming for the stars!!! It's a hard field to crack and I think it might take me a lot longer than it took you to get established but I'll try my best and see where it takes me.
ReplyDelete2. I follow your blog and I have to say, I'm so incredibly inspired by you and all you have achieved... especially with all that you've had to endure... moving states so many times now... sick family members... you're amazing! Congratulations on everything you've achieved hun xxx
ReplyDelete3. I like you on Facebook too... and have done for a very long time!!!
ReplyDelete4. I am totally in love with a ring from a recent photo you posted on Facebook... with some wholesale items that you had sold (I posted a comment under that pic). It was a fairly chunky ring with a gorgeous blue coloured stone in it... just beautiful (as are most of your creations.... and YOU)! xxxx
ReplyDelete2. I follow your blog :)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Belinda on your 1 year Etsyversary!!! I'm coming up to mine in a few months and as a fellow australian I know what it's like to overcome the fear that everyone else's work is probably better than yours anyway so what's the point?? lol
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog.
I have liked you on facebook!!

Jo xx
congrats on one year.
ReplyDeleteIf i had no fear i would take all opportunities as they arise rather then questioning.

ReplyDeleteThat has to be the most gorgeously crafted competition ever! Mmm ... let's see ... of course I like (but really love) you on Facebook but I can't think of a single favourite creation though those delicious stack rings of you do spring to mind. Congratulations on your anniversary and may you go from strength to strengh! xxx
ReplyDeleteSecond entry - I have liked you on facebook.
ReplyDeleteOh that was so badly put! What I meant is that everything is so gorgeous that I don't have a favourite! I love them all! lol
ReplyDeleteI love the stacking rings but one of my fav is the Inspirational Quote Sterling Silver Necklace, Green Amethyst, Prehnite, Romantic, Spring - The Truth & Beauty Necklace
ReplyDeleteThird entry - if I had no fear I would have followed my dream to join the RAAF when I was in high school, back in the day when the defence force came and spoke to at my high school I wanted to join back lacked the courage and support so now I live near a RAAF base and run outside when the aircraft carriers and jets fly overhead.
ReplyDeleteFourth entry - no guesses here as you already know I am madly in love with the Twilight Topaz ring!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, fear, first entry. I lack courage to stop and smell the roses. Sounds a bit silly but I am constantly on the go. I don't have an off switch. If I stop I might fall into a heap or I might not achieve something...Reality is I am not a great multitasker so I have many unfinished projects. Four kids, two with ASD, a husband that works shift work and I still never feel like my time is filled enough. Occasionally I crash but I am too scared to not start immediately pushing myself to get up, dust off, and keep going.

ReplyDeleteCongraulations Belinda!!
ReplyDeleteBiggest fear - quitting my 'day' job to focus on and grow my own little jewellery business. I have conquered one fear this month by finally starting my blog.. so little steps at a time.
As you know I am already a fan of your blog and your facebook page.
I dont think it is a secret that my favourite piece is your smoky quartz bliss ring, which I am still coveting :)
Avid facebook follower- I love your "Just Breathe" ring, which if fitting given my fear.

Belinda - of course I am without any fear... except perhaps to go by plane or to jump down from more than 50 cm hight or doing telephone calls with angry customers ;-)
ReplyDeleteHey,congratulations! You know I've been a long time FB fan and often read your blog (although I'm not strictly a follower).
ReplyDeleteIf I had no fears (and unlimited amounts of money) I would love to travel the world and experience all the wonders it has to offer.
ReplyDeleteAnd as a final chance, it is seriously hard to pick a favourite piece. I will go with the Truth and Beauty Necklace out of many though.
ReplyDeleteWhen Fear was't an Issue, I'd Climb the Kilimanjaro and Mount Everest!
