Sneak Preview: The *Safi* Earrings in Saffron

I'm on an earring-making kick!

I couldn't stop at just one pair of *Safi* earrings...

...I had to make more...

I've had lots of fun playing with bold colour combinations.

This saffron-hued pair speak of Summer and sunshine...

The AAA chalcedony briolettes are a beautiful pale aqua...

...there is something so lovely about chalcedony!

I'm loving the exotic 'tilak' cut, too...

More earrings coming soon...

And some necklaces too!

~*~

I had my back turned for all of two seconds while I was outside taking photos of these earrings when...

...somebody discovered a lovely puddle of mud in the driveway...

...I was laughing so hard I could hardly hold the camera still to take photos!

Thankfully India, ever the princess, wisely decided to steer clear of the mud and pick flowers instead...

Moroccan earrings and mud pies...who could ask for a better day?! ;-)

  5. I love these earrings. The look rich. You definitely have a boy and a girl in all aspects. How darn cute are they. Where did these curls come from? Dad I guess.

  9. Thanks Niki! These earrings are lots of fun to make, and I enjoy playing with bright colour combinations :-)

Thank you so much Csirli! Yellow is just the happiest of colours, isn't it :-)

LOL Karyn, no thankfully there have been no more frogs! She's a girly girl in every way except when it comes to bugs and creepy crawlies...she loves them! LOL

Nicole, they are definitely very much a boy and a girl. Indie watched from the sidelines as Jett played in the mud, but she didn't want to go near it...although you can see in the photo she managed to get a few splatters on her LOL Jett gets his curls from me AND Anthony...we both have curly hair! I just straighten mine whenever I have time. We always want what we don't have, huh! ;-)

A-K, high voltage indeed! LOL Just as well he wasn't in his good clothes yesterday, huh *rolls eyes*

    Thanks Heroilda :-)

Lenita, little boys just can't walk past a puddle of mud, can they! It was hilarious to watch him playing with it though...I don't know who was laughing harder, me or Indie! LOL Thanks for the lovely comments on earrings too -xo-

Andrea, kids can find amusement in the simplest things ;-) I think these earrings need to be made in turquoise next! And perhaps orange too... LOL -xo-

  14. It does make you think that gender differences are innate, doesn't it? I loved the mud puddle pictures! And loved them next to the princess with the flower. Perfect! Love the beady goodness, too.
