I love your pendant design. The translucence or opacity of the various beads add so much depth within each section of color. Give me turquoise with anything!
Belinda, Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. It was a little push in the right direction. I really think I'm gonna go for it. I think the focus is gonna be stones with beads, a lot of bead embroidery with some component beadweaving thrown in. I like the way metal looks with beadweaving also, which is why most of my pendants just come on chains. I dunno, I'm giving myself a little deadline for August, and we'll see what happens. Thanks again, and good luck with your collections, I'm looking forward to seeing them all together in one spot!
You're very welcome, Marcie :-) I love all of your ideas, they sound great and I know you will do a great job! I like the way metal looks with beadweaving too...most of my work now is a combination of both mediums. I'm itching to really get into silversmithing but there just aren't enough hours in the day at the moment! Best of luck with your collection, I can't wait to see what you start producing :-) B. -xo-
Thanks Nicole, I just love these colours at the moment...anything that reminds me of the warmth of Summer!
Kristen, what's not to love about orange! ;-) I think it's one of those colours that people either love or hate...personally, I love it! It is energising and happy and just plain uplifting :-)
